MARBLE

Take care of your marble

  • Clean regularly from outdoor and daily impurities with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn stains, clean with a pH-neutral cleaner or mild soap and warm water. Wipe spills immediately, especially acidic substances like coffee, wine, or citrus juices, to prevent etching and staining. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
  • Strictly avoid ammonia-based cleaners, vinegar, lemon juice, scouring creams, bleach, or any acid-based products, which will chemically burn (etch) the marble surface and destroy its polish.
  • Metallic sponges, steel wool, and abrasive scrubbers are not suitable, as they will easily scratch the soft surface of the marble and permanently dull its luster.
  • Apply a specialized stone sealer periodically (every 6 to 12 months) to renew the protective barrier and prevent liquids from penetrating the porous stone.
  • Avoid placing hot pots, pans, or wet items directly on the surface. Always use coasters, trivets, or placemats to protect the marble from thermal shock, scratches, and water rings.
